Week: 8

Date: 22nd March 2021 - 26th March 2021

Activity: 

• Workshop on Microsoft Teams by the Research & Innovation (R&I) Section

Objective:

1. Lecture on Thesis Writing for Chapter 4 (Results & Discussions), Chapter 5 (Conclusion) and also Abstract writing 

Content:

• The workshop was given by En. Ahmad Syukri Mohamad at 3pm through Microsoft Teams. 
• Tips on writing Chapter 4:

1. use past tense to describe the results
2. use present tense to refer to tables or figures
3. data presentation in table to present numeric values would be better
4. discuss on the objectives, limitations and significance

• Tips on writing Chapter 5:

1. state whether you have achieved your project objectives
2. explain how to solved the problem statements
3. give recommendations and future improvements of the project

• Tips on writing the Abstract:

1. a sentence of introduction
2. concise problem statements
3. straight forward methodology
4. highlight main results
5. a sentence of conclusion
6. within 150-300 words
7. in one paragraph

Result: -

Conclusion: 

As a conclusion, I was able to know how tor write Chapter 4, Chapter 5 and Abstract correctly after the workshop.
